Bookmark New Location for Eureka Hills Library

As of Wednesday, Dec. 1, the Eureka Hills Branch of the St. Louis County Library reopens for business at its new location, 156 Eureka Towne Center.

Once again, there are movies in the in Eureka, but this time they are for checking out from the new lessee — the of the St. Louis County Library.

The library staff closed its former location at 103 Hilltop Village Center Dr. during the Thanksgiving holiday and moved into the recently remodeled building at 156 Eureka Towne Center. The new location is one mile west of its former location, in the same complex as the .

The new Eureka Hills space is said to be 30 percent larger than the previous location, and features brightly colored walls and comfortable seating. Other amenities include a community meeting room, four work stations and designated areas for teens and kids. The new 6,500 square feet of space allowed for an expanded collection of library materials. Eight computers are available for public use, along with multiple outlets for laptop users accessing the library’s free Wi-Fi. Two computers designated for juveniles also are provided.

Sections include Teen Records, Audio Books, Adult Large Print, Magazines and Newspapers, DVDs and CDs, Adult New Books, Bestsellers, Childrens New Books, Childrens Fiction, Childrens Magazines, Childrens Picture Books, Childrens DVDs, Childrens Biographies, Childrens Non-Fiction, Adult Mysteries, Adult Science Fiction, Westerns, Adult Fiction, Adult Biographies, and Adult Non-Fiction.

St. Louis County Library Communications Manager Jennifer McBride stated in an email that an official grand opening ceremony is being planned for early 2012.
