Knock all of it down from jimmy johns, including the hotel to the other few for sale and put in a target and other shopable stores so we can start putting our tax dollars into eureka instead of every other county. You can only shop walmart so much! A Home Depot or lowes would be great, gordmans.....

That sounds awesome!

Well, Cheryl, we did lose a nearby Gordmans when it moved out of Ellisville. I miss it every time I still receive the direct mailers about sales. There is one in Fenton at the Gravois Bluffs area, but it would be nice to have their merchandise selection in Eureka!

Julie, I hear you. We need more *NOW* store and shops not only because eureka is growing by leaps and bounds in families. But we also need the tax monies. I know know I go out of county to shop all the time and they get my taxes. I would for eureka to get my tax dollars. There are so many empty buildings here and even one partially built... still.

We do not need another big box store along 5th street, but a Captain D's or Pasta House would fill two large gaps in the Eureka dining experience.
