Restaurant Review Round-Up: Chick-N-Elly's

See what people are saying about restaurants in the Eureka/Wildwood area.

On the plate for this week's review round-up is Chick-N-Elly's.

Before we get to the reviews, here's a description of the establishment, courtesy of our directory:

"Chick-N-Elly's is a Eureka landmark. The family run restaurant has an innovative menu created by owner Nick Leiber. All of the food is made from scratch and the restaurant has daily specials. During warmer months, customers can eat outside in the restaurant's beer garden."

From Wendy S: "Love, love, love their trashed wings!! Burgers are excellent as well!! Only one problem ... if there's any type of St. Louis sports being broadcast that day, you can forget about finding a place to sit ... which I guess is good for the restaurant, not so good for the customer."

From Cynthia Baumer: "Very friendly staff, Their chicken wings are the best, my kids will eat everything on the menu too. excellent. I give it a 10."

From Yelp (1.5 out of 5 stars from three reviews)

From Bruce K.: "I've only been here for breakfast and lunch... service is great, food is good. I'll come back."

From Megan S.: "Overall, we are so disappointed that a neighborhood restaurant is making choices that will be certain death. Sad for CNE...we won't be going back."

From Urbanspoon (80 percent from 50 ratings)

From Sarah Foster: "We accidentally stumbled onto this place on a road trip, and I'm so glad we did. It's a perfect hole-in-the-wall! Beautiful, old bar. So tiny inside that everyone has to be friendly. The food is good. The apple blossom was tasty, and FUN to eat! Don't miss this place if you're in the area."
