Pumpkin Family Mobile at Auto Body Business

Selbert's Auto Body customers were greeted by thematic creatures recently.

It's a family affair every day at in Eureka. So why wouldn't the Selberts' approach to autumn decorations be the same?

Over the past few weeks, Selbert family members participated in the scarecrow contest and then began moving their newly created "pumpkin creatures" around at their auto body shop.

The pumpkin family sport real clothes that are branded with Selbert's Auto Body logos. Sometimes the 'female pumpkin creature' can be seen with her arm around the 'male pumpkin creature.'

"We borrowed a Bobcat and some other equipment for the pumpkin scarecrows, and then moved them because we thought the contest judging was over, but actually I guess it wasn't," said Debbie Selbert, who works at the shop along with her brother Terry, mother Shirley, and Terry's daughter, Ella.

She said the majority of pumpkins seen on the wagon in the photos that accompany this article were donated to her niece's school.

The Selbert's Auto Body team handles dent and scratch removals, frame straightening, painting, paintless dent repairs, and wheel and window replacements. They also provide some fairly entertaining pumpkin creatures.
