New Patio Dining Open at Wildwood Pub & Grill

Forty more seats now are available outdoors at this Wildwood restaurant.

Jeff Allee, owner of , said he recently expanded the restaurant's outdoor seating because that style of dining is so popular in the area. "We have been planning it for over a year," he said.

The pub's new patio adds 10 tables of four seats to the previous eight tables already set up outside.

Allee said this spring's cold, rainy weather didn't really slow them down in constructing the area, but it has limited the number of days they have been able to use the patio so far.

He said they will have a special dinner on the patio on May 25 featuring Boulevard beers paired with a five-course dinner of items from their smoker. The cost for that dinner will be $35 each.  Space is limited to the first 32 reservations, which can be made at 636-273-4300.

"We are currently running a 'BBQ Night' special menu on Friday and Saturday evenings, which has nine or 10 items that sell out," he said. "So come as early as you can."

Allee told Patch they cannot allow dogs on the patio with diners, however, due to health code regulations.
