The Diviners
Eureka Theatre Company announces the spring production of the 2011-2012 season, The Diviners, a story of a mentally challenged boy named Buddy, who does his small town of Zion, Indiana a great favor during the Depression by locating water for the farmers. Buddy’s sweet nature influences those around him, but he ends up gaining a mentor of his own when former preacher, C.C. Showers comes to town. Showers’ goal of helping Buddy overcome his fear of water is disrupted by the townspeople's hope that he can cure the boy and spread his faith in Zion.
The production will take place on the following dates at 7:00 PM in the Eureka Theatre on the campus of Eureka High School:
