Author Jo Beck Discusses Wildwood History

The St. Louis County Library offers the following description:

Come and listen to the wonderful author Jo Beck as she discusses the history of Wildwood, Missouri. 
 
Ms. Beck is the author of “Wildwood,” a non-fiction history published by Reedy Press. Illustrations used in the book will be shared via a slideshow. Questions about the book as well as the municipality will be entertained after the presentation. Books will be available for purchase.
 
Jo Beck has researched local histories for many years, regardless of her location. A native Iowan, she wrote historical articles for newspapers in Maryland and New Jersey when she lived there. Since moving to St. Louis in 1995, she has shifted her inquiries to the history of Wildwood. She edited the 2008 Sesquicentennial History of Eureka. She has worked in the Rockwood School District for 12 years.
