Viewfinder: Eureka Police Host Canine State Workshop

The Eureka Police Department K-9 Unit this week conducted the 2011 Missouri Spring State Workshop through the North American Police Work Dog Association.

A state workshop for police officers and their work dogs was hosted by the Eureka Police Department K-9 Unit this week at .

The workshop was geared toward all levels of training for both handlers and K9s, from beginner teams to experienced veteran teams.

Training and certification was available in areas of patrol, tracking, narcotic and explosive detection.
