Remember Leo the Tortoise? He's Still Missing

He's a 125-pound tortoise with a 3-foot shell and his owner is willing to pay $1,500 to get him back.

Here's the latest updates from the owner on Leo, the tortoise who went missing in Glencoe on June 12. Check out this page to see a video of Leo (although you'll have to turn your head to the side to view it).

"Still missing :(  Leo the (land) tortoise went missing on 6/12/13 from his temporary boarding place at Hwy 100 and 109.  He was last spotted in mid July at Hwy 100 and Hwy OO.  He does not know how to hibernate and will NOT survive winter outdoors.

"For size purposes; adults can  put your arms out in front of you and touch your fingers together.  That's how big Leo is!!  Handsome boy with a dark shell measuring at least 36" with a weight of approx. 125+ lbs.

"Friendly and will respond to his name.  Please help bring him home.  $1500.00 cash reward to anyone with information leading to the safe return of Leo.  Please call or text 314-565-9103.  Thank you to everyone who has responded and has kept a look out for Leo!!"
