Mini Christmas Trees from Jefferson Bank Staff Brighten Sick Children's Holiday

Look at this beautiful little trees that were donated to an area children's hospital—each one with a different theme.

Staffers at Jefferson Bank in Eureka thought ill kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital shouldn't have to miss out on the fun of being surrounded by Christmas trees, so they decorated 11 mini-trees and donated them to the hospital.

Before the trees were donated, bank customers got to vote for their favorites—which can be seen in the photos that accompany this article. Customers have no idea which staff prepared which thematic tree, but reportedly enjoy guessing.

Inez Quennoz, assistant vice president and branch manager of Jefferson Bank, said it was the second year the bank staff has done this particular community service project. Last year, she said the trees were donated to Marymount of Eurek.

Quennoz said the concept actually began after they decorated and donated pumpkins at Halloween last year.
