La Salle Institute Awarded Proclamation

Wildwood city representatives awarded representatives of the La Salle Institute in Wildwood with an atypical proclamation.

It's not a frequent occurrence that a city can present a proclamation to an institution for their 125th anniversary. But that's exactly the happy observation at Monday evening's Wildwood city council meeting when Mayor Tim Woerther awarded two representatives of the La Salle Institute with a special plaque.

"It is very thoughtful of Wildwood to recognize this milestone in our history, as well as your (the city's) history," said Brother Marvin Becker, upon receiving the proclamation.

Mike Sawicki, the institute's director, echoed similar sentiments.
