Community Rummage Sales Spots Available

Two non-profits in Eureka will host a series of sales in the Legends Plaza parking lot this summer. Vendor spaces are being sold. What will you find?

Two local, non-profit organizations will host a series of rummage sales on five different Saturdays this summer in the Eureka Legends Plaza area.

The , in conjunction with the , are working together to raise funds from rummage sales on the following dates:

  • May 21
  • June 4
  • June 18
  • July 16
  • July 30

Each day's sale will run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will be held rain or shine, said Jeff Clark, vended services manager, from the Wyman Center.

The organizations are selling spaces to those people interested in selling their wares, including gently used household items, furniture, baby clothes, toys and antiques. Local businesses also are welcome to showcase their businesses.

A space that is 8-by-17 feet for one day only is $20. A 17-by-17 feet space is $30. An 8-by-17 feet space for all five dates is $80. The 17-by-17-feet space for all five dates is $120.

The sales will be held in front of, and close to, the in the plaza, as the center is supporting the new endeavor.

The Wyman Center is an organization focused on teen development. Its programs assist young people from disadvantaged circumstances, allowing them to become economically self-sufficient, leaders in their communities and, ultimately, to break the cycle of poverty.
