31 Chicken Wings to Eat—So Little Time
VIDEOS: Plates of spicy-sauced chicken wings awaited competing teams at this year's St. Louis Home Fires BBQ Bash in Wildwood Saturday evening. It's a messy contest!
While staring at chicken wings laced with "Lucifer Sauce," three-member teams tried to pump themselves up to tackle the entire plate-worth as fast as they could without taking any drinks Saturday evening in Wildwood. It was all part of this year's St. Louis Home Fires BBQ Bash held in Town Center Saturday and Sunday.
Bill Kunz, of Highway 61 Roadhouse, supplied the chicken wings for the competition, along with four tickets to an upcoming Rams football game in addition to a gift certificate, to the winners.
The mission was to consume all 31 chicken wings in the least amount of time. All chicken had to be off the bones, and no meat could be left inside the mouths of all three competitors on each team.
