Rockwood Partners in Education Give Away Backpacks to Students

Rockwood Partners in Education united with local charities to provide back-to-school supplies for students in need. On July 27, nearly 400 people attended the event at the Living Word United Methodist Church. Collectively, they gave out almost 200 backpacks.

They have two more events before the new school year starts. The events will be held from 8-1 at Fenton Crossing and Ellisville Baptist Church on August 10.

Partners in Education Supervisor Kim Litzau says the “partnerships with the churches sets the tone for the new school year. We want our students to be succesful and ready to learn."
