Today Only! Shred Old Documents at St. Louis Community College

The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon.

Here's the announcement directly from St. Louis Community College's Wildwood Campus, for a free paper-shredding event this morning.

St. Louis Community College-Wildwood and the City of Wildwood will partner to host a Shredding Event 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 5.

This marks the third year that the event will be held on the parking lot of STLCC’s campus.

The event provides a way for residents and non-residents to dispose of paper, paper folders, CDs and empty pill bottles in a secure and environmentally friendly way. All shredding is done on site, and all materials are recycled.  Participants are asked to bring their paper in a plastic bag or paper sack since cardboard boxes cannot be shredded.
