DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are needed to help children with special needs rec
 eive therapeutic benefits from horseback riding lessons. &nbsp\;No exper
 ience is necessary. &nbsp\;We provide all training. &nbsp\;In class you 
 will work directly with the child\, helping them with fun activities lik
 e throwing a ball through the hoop\, puzzles and scavenger hunts. &nbsp\
 ;Over time\, you'll witness wonderful changes not only in the child but 
 in yourself as well! &nbsp\;\nIf you love horses\, volunteering for a ye
 ar allows you to apply for our horse leadership program in which you wil
 l be assigned a horse to train with and care for outside and during clas
 s times.\nContinuing education classes are also offered throughout the y
 ear\, making your experience as a volunteer as enlightening and upliftin
 g as we possibly can.\nVolunteers must fill out an application\, pass a 
 background check from the DFS and watch a 24 minute video prior to helpi
 ng in classes. &nbsp\;Classes begin February 11 and run for 7 weeks at a
  time through November 16.
