More About New Community Church
At New Community Church, it is taught that the Bible is the written revelation of God and constitutes the totality of God's word to people. Congregants therefore believe there is no new revelation.
Each Saturday at 9:30am (KSIV 91.5FM) and 5pm (KSIV 1320AM), Pastor Jerry Marshall's sermons are presented through a radio ministry called Cutting it Straight.
The church staff communicates through other means, such as a weekly and monthly newsletters, recorded sermons and Twitter feeds.
Small group classes are held, in addition to ministries and Bible studies, for children, youth, women and men.
The church's outreach efforts include such endeavors as a missionary program for women in prison as well as Kids Alive International in Guatemala.
