Funds4Food is sponsoring the second annual Funds4Food event on June 23, 2012. St. Mark's Lutheran Church and School, Eureka United Methodist Church, Central Baptist Church, and the Knights of Columbus are hosting this event to be held on the grounds of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and School. We are including in the day's events: a motorcycle ride (we are estimating 100- 200 bikes), a car show (50 - 200 cars), local vendors, and ongoing concerts by local bands. This will be a free will offering event.
Our goal is to raise funds for the Eureka Food Pantry housed within the Eureka United Methodist Church. The Eureka Food Pantry currently serves our community by helping 125 -150 families per month. Let's work together to help families in our community who are in need. If you came by last year you know how hot it was. With our event his year in June we hope for cooler weather. However, last year (our first event) we were still able to raise $5,500 for the Eureka Food Pantry. It is our hope to double that amount this year.
Come by and look at the cars and motorcycles, enjoy the vendors, games, and concerts. If you can't make it but would like to donate to the Food Pantry please do so, they need our help. If you wish to donate to our event that would be appreciated also. We are hoping for 500 to 1000 people and the more assistance donated, the more help goes directly to those who need it the most. With your donation to our event you will be listed on our website www.funds4food.org) and all advertising. Any checks should be made out to Eureka Food Pantry.

More About St. Mark's Lutheran Ministries
A stated vision of St. Mark's Lutheran is to bring Jesus Christ's compassion to life. Congregants do that by focusing on three Ws: worship, the Word, and the world. Adults engage in Bible and group study.
The large-sized complex is home to a church, preschool and school. A playground, ball fields and soccer fields round out the external resources.
