More About St Louis Community College-Wildwood
This "green" campus was intentionally built with environmentally friendly materials and architecture, and is one of four campuses for St. Louis Community College (STLCC) in the St. Louis metropolitan region. It was the first community college in the Midwest to receive the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental gold level certification.
The campus offers Associate in Arts degrees in general transfer studies, business administration, communications arts (advertising/public relations option), fine arts/arts education, and an Associate of Arts in teaching. Students also can complete a Certificate of Proficiency or Certificate of Specialization in business administration, take general education courses required for many STLCC degrees and certificate, and complete prerequisites for many allied health degrees offered on other STLCC campuses.
Community members are invited to campus for events, such as a children's Halloween party, the Artists and Apples lecture series, an annual Eco-Festival, and to visit the campus's outdoor sculpture park and walking trails.
The Wildwood campus also serves as a location for events and training sessions for area school districts. Continuing education courses are offered on campus each semester, which provides residents with life-long learning opportunities related to personal and professional development. The Wildwood campus also serves as a satellite site for the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
