Marijuana Charges Go Toward Wildwood Man

St. Louis County Police officers state a 23-year-old Wildwood male recently was found to have marijuana after they responded to a traffic-related incident in which he was allegedly involved.

The following information was supplied by the St. Louis Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Thomas Welch Shea, a 23-year-old Wildwood resident, was charged by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers on Wednesday, Oct. 10, with the suspicion of possessing 35 grams or less of marijuana.

St. Louis County Police Department media relations officer Randy Vaughn informed Patch an officer contacted Shea after receiving a radio-dispatched call for a van stuck in a ditch near Melrose and Ossenfort roads in Wildwood.

Authorities confirmed a summons possession court date for Shea is set for Nov. 14 in Wildwood's Municipal Court.
