New hours for this season's Wildwood Farmers' Market will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., but the same market manager will be in place to launch it. An agreement with Glenn Gaehle to oversee the 2012 market was approved by Wildwood City Council members at Monday's council meeting.

Gaehle will receive $16,000 for his services as manager. While he is responsible for setting up and breaking down the market's booths as well as the resulting cleanup of the site, the city pays for related elements such as restroom facilities, police services and liability insurance.

Wildwood initiated a farmers' market in 2009. Gaehle served as the manager during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Wildwood Director of Planning and Parks Joe Vujnich said the market again will be set up at Town Center Plaza. "We hope this will be our best season yet," he said.

The market runs from May until September or October, depending on weather conditions.

• Christy Walker: woodwork, jewelry, signs
