Vigil for Christopher Marks Happens Tonight
Come to Rogers Middle School Friday at 7:30 p.m. for a glow bracelet vigil and a chance to share, pray and remember as a community.
Affton community residents will hold a glow bracelet vigil Friday, Aug. 9, in honor of Christopher Marks, the seventh grader-to-be who was found dead in the Meramec River Tuesday, at the Pacific Palisades Conservation Area near the Eureka-Pacific borderline.
The vigil starts at 7:30 p.m., in the rear of Rogers Middle School by the basketball courts.
Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, advises the Affton Schools Mother's Club on Facebook.
"Please join our community in honoring the memory of Christopher Marks and showing support to his family," the club posted on Facebook.
