Vicious Dog, Recovered Stolen Property: Wildwood Police Log

POLICE LOG Jan. 28-Feb. 3: This past week, St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers took a report of stolen jewelry, for which the suspect is a home caregiver. Another resident had money stolen, perhaps from house cleaners.

 

Following are recent incidences handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers:

Jan. 28

An accident occurred at the intersection of Missouri Routes 109 and 100; no injury resulted.

Some stolen property was recovered from the burglary that happened at a Wildridge residence reported in the just previous Eureka-Wildwood Patch police log; the items were located in the woods.

Jan. 29

A traffic stop at Deer Haven and Shepard led to police finding the driver with felony amounts of marijuana.

Police took a report of theft of jewelry on Arlington Terrace, with suspects being home caregivers.

Jan. 30

An accident happened at Missouri Route 109 and Hidden Valley; no injuries resulted.

Police received a call about a suspicious driver and vehicle at the intersection of Missouri Route 100 and Manchester. The driver was found with marijuana and issued a summons.

Jan. 31

A purse, GPS and computer were taken from unlocked vehicles on Cherry Hills Meadows. 

An accident occurred at the intersection of Missouri Routes 109 and 100; no injury resulted.

A homeowner reported $300 stolen from his house; he told police he suspects a house-cleaning staff. 

A person was arrested at his house on Missouri Route 109 for a warrant arrest.

Feb. 1

A fraud report was made that a resident was advised he won a car and money, and to obtain the car, he needed to send $600 in money cards.

Feb. 2

Police officers had no notable activity to report.

Feb. 3

Police received a report of a vicious dog on Lone Cabin Drive. One dog bit another dog; a summons was issued to the dog owner.
