Unlocked Autos Make Stealing Easy
POLICE LOG Dec. 3-9: A heavy number of accidents occurred in Wildwood in the past week, especially at select same spots on Missouri Route 109—and on the same day! Police also processed two burglaries and a case of fraud.

Following are recent incidences handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers:
Dec. 3:
An accident occurred on Shepard at Missouri Route 109; no injuries resulted.
Police received areport of a burglary on Crown Pointe Estates, at which unknown persons broke into the house and took two computers.
A traffic stop on Thunderhead Canyon and Westglen Farms resulted in the driver being arrested for outstanding warrants.
An accident happened on Shepard Road; no injuries resulted.
Dec. 4:
An accident occurred at Taylor at Main; no injury resulted.
Cash and jacket weretaken from an unlocked vehicle on Waterside.
Dec. 5:
An accident developed at Clayton and Thunderhead Canyon; no injury resulted.
A warrant arrest was made on a traffic stop on Fox Creek Road.
Dec. 6:
An accident occurred on Old State Road, involving a deer; no human injuries resulted.
A briefcase was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Bayshore Cove Court.
A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Cherry Hills Meadows.
A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Port of Nantucket.
A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Ballybunion Court.
A deer camera was stolen from the front area of home on Old Eatherton.
Dec. 7:
Police found an open door on a residence on Garden Valley.
A fraud report was taken from a resident on Cherry Hills Meadows, through which $5,000 was taken from his savings account.
An accident occurred at Babler View and Missouri Route 109; no injury resulted.
An accident happened at Taylor and Missouri Route 100; no injury resulted.
Police processed a burglary report on Nantucket Pointe where a TV was taken.
Dec. 8:
An accident, with injury, occurred on Missouri Route 100 at Westglen Farms.
As shown in the photo that accompanies this article, an accident occurred on Missouri Route 100 at Taylor; no injury resulted.
An accident happened at Autumn Pines and Forest Pine; no injury resulted.
An accident happened on Audubon Village; no injury resulted.
Dec. 9:
A person was issued a summons on Homestead Heights for hunting without permission.
