Two Go to Hospital After I-44 Accident

An early Sunday morning one-vehicle accident near Antire Road in Eureka injured two.

Two men from Illinois were taken to the St. Clare Hospital by a Valley Park Fire Protection District emergency crew after a truck that one was driving left Interstate 44 near Eureka at 7:25 a.m. Sunday and overturned.

Robby Porter, a 44-year-old driver from Flora, IL, was driving a 2008 Ford F150 westbound on Interstate 44 when the truck left the roadway, hit a sign and overturned east of Antire Road.

Porter was wearing a safety belt, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, but both he and a passenger were taken to hospital for minor injuries. The truck was totaled.

The passenger involved in this accident was Chad Sheraden, a 31-year-old resident of Kinmundy, IL.
