Suspicious Person Lurks in Cars, Purse Stolen at Nursing Home on Police Log

POLICE LOG: Eureka Police Department officers worked the following situations between Nov. 12-18.

 

The following incidences recently were handled by Eureka Police Department officers:

Police checked out a suspicious person getting into cars at Legends Bluffs Court on Nov. 12.

A purse was stolen from a residents' room at Price Memorial Nursing Home, 300 West North St., on Nov. 12.

Someone reported a lost cell phone at the police station on Nov. 13.  

Property was destroyed on Williams Drive on Nov. 13.  

A laptop computer and iPad were stolen from an unlocked car at the Eureka MotoMart on Nov. 13.

Police were called to a third-degree assault situation on Walden Court on Nov. 15.

Items worth more than $500 were stolen from a residence on Franz Lane on Nov. 17.

A person was arrested at Fifth Street and Orchard Lane on the suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on Nov. 18.
