Sirens in Wildwood will be Retested
Select, new emergency sirens will be re-evaluated this week, after last week's retesting was postponed due to weather reasons. Wildwood is among the three targeted municipalities, according to a KSDK-TV report.
Certain new tornado sirens installed in Wildwood, Kirkwood and St. Ann over the past year will retested during Feb. 1-8, due to possible sound coverage gaps reported during a previous tornado warning.

St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic and Public Works Public Information Manager David Wrone told KSDK-TV while a specific, scheduled date for retesting has not been announced, the tests will not be conducted on Saturday or Sunday.
Retesting of sirens originally scheduled for last week was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Tests are part of St. Louis County's Emergency Communications Network's honing of a new 187-siren tornado warning system, which started Labor Day.
