Rockwood Cheers for St. Louis Cardinals

Today, several seas of red could be found at Rockwood School District schools. Many in Wildwood and Eureka are looking as baseball history is made in the first wildcard berth game.

Second-grade student Jonah Fowler and Geggie Elementary librarian in Eureka Cathey O’Connor. Jonah said he’s excited to see the Cardinals play tonight. "I think they are going to score at least nine runs and are going to win the World Series!”

The St. Louis Cardinals are about to go up against the Atlanta Braves in the one-game playoff for the National League wildcard berth is at 4:07 p.m.

They are playing in front of 50,000-plus fans in Atlanta, and lots more avid fans here in St. Louis.
