Residents Reappointed to Wildwood Committees

Three Wildwood residents will continue to serve the municipality as volunteers.

Three Wildwood residents were reappointed to serve the city as volunteer committee members at Tuesday's city council meeting.

Ruth Yeaman, Ward 1, was reappointed to Wildwood's Historic Preservation Commission for her second, three-year term. City Council member from Ward 6 and council liaison to the commission Ron James said she has been an excellent committee member. "She has a great background in our history and is a wonderful asset," he said.

Yeaman serves with six other volunteer members. Two city council members also serve as liaisons to the commission, as well as one Planning and Zoning Commission liaison.

Richard Pfarr, Ward 4, will remain on Wildwood's Board of Adjustment for a two-year term as an alternate member.

Pfarr is one of three alternate members. There are five members, who exist so that residents can request variances to ordinances or appeals to zoning codes.

Andrew Lindberg, Ward 8, was reappointed to Wildwood's Architectural Review Board for a two-year term as an alternate member. City Council member from Ward 1 and new council liaision to the board Larry McGowen said Lindberg already has whispered in his ear definitions of technical terms at meetings. "Andy's been a real help and I support fully his reappointment," said McGowen.

Lindberg is one of three alternate members of the board. There are five members, one city council liaison and one Planning and Zoning liaison member.
