Pro-Life Locals Will March in D.C. Friday

Most Sacred Heart of Eureka and St. Alban Roe parishes in Wildwood will have local residents at Friday's Pro-Life March in Washington, D.C. FOX2 VIDEO shows Catholic teens gathering in Valley Park before the trip.

Hundreds of thousands are expected to march in Washington, D.C., Friday to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Fox2 News reported the St. Louis Catholic community sent 1,600 young people to participate in the march—St. Louis' largest group ever for this event.

Vicki Chandler, Most Sacred Heart Church of Eureka parish secretary, said the parish will have 27 eighth grade students and 23 adults attending the march.

Fox2 News reported 31 busloads of Catholic teens gathered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Valley Park Wednesday night for a presentation and Mass before departing to D.C.

Working through the St. Louis Archdiocese, the trip includes youth groups from St. Charles to Illinois. They are expected to arrive back in St. Louis on Sunday.

The pro-life march in Washington has been an annual tradition since Roe v. Wade, making it a tradition and "rite of passage" for many St. Louis young people.

It's gratifying to know the youth of our country see abortion for what it truly is & are acting on their convictions.

"Pro-Life" -- what a joke, it's like saying you support breathing. Why not call it what it is -- pro-birth.

Our Pro-Slavery President, Barrack H. Obama, should be shaking in
his boots because we, as good Christians, look at him as one of the
lowest people of humanity. He signed his Presidential decree that
allows the buying and selling of Human Beings, in the embryonic
stage of life, for medical research. Now these Human Beings are
being Murdered and used to make vaccines and are being used
by the soft-drink industry in their taste research! Slavery and
Murder endorsed by a black man. Will Justice ever prevail?

Fifty-Five Million, Eight Hundred Eight Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty-Seven
million Human Beings MURDERED within the womb, in the birth canal or
on the delivery table since January 22nd, 1973. And there is such an outrage
when 20 children are murdered by a single psychopath. Why haven't these
Murdering abortionists been convicted and imprisoned? POLITICS! Some
women demand the Right to Murder! What an absurdity! Those that are
charged with gestating and promoting life and family are those that demand
a Right to MURDER!

In addition to the 27 Eighth Graders with 23 Adults' Sacred Heart Eureka had 20 High School Youth Group Members with their sponsors.

My daughter Haley is a part of the High School Youth Group and was very excited about going.
