New Furniture Direct Liquidators Open in Eureka

A mattress and furniture "blow out" was just hosted by the furniture liquidation business that recently moved into the Hilltop Village strip mall.

Furniture, bedding, recliners, bunk beds, end tables, lamps, book shelves and table and chair sets at pass-along lower prices now are available at a new Furniture Direct Liquidators (FDL) retail shop located at 111 Hilltop Village Drive in Eureka.

The store caters to popular brands of home furnishings from other, overstocked furniture distributors.

Area residents received this weekend a direct-mail advertisement from FDL to promote 50 percent prices on furniture and mattresses, prior Christmas. The staff offers 24 months, no interest payments. They also deliver purchased products.

Owner Greg Cardadine operates another location in Union. Managers of the Eureka retail spot said they hoped to stay in Eureka permanently, if business goes well.

FDL is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. A manager told Patch they may extend the hours closer to Christmas, depending on customer interest.

Have you checked out the FDL merchandise yet?

Just took advantage of their sale and we were very satisfied. We got some really nice furniture for very reasonable prices. The store personnel were pleasant to work with. We were able to schedule an exact time for delivery and they were right on time. The delivery people were very polite and professional. Definitely recommend people checking out FDL.
