New Cardiologist Joins SSM St. Clare Health Center

Hari Thanigaraj, MD, joins fellow cardiologists Phillip Apprill, MD; Manoj Eapen, MD; and Anish Thomas, MD; at an office located at 1011 Bowles Avenue, Suite G10, in the St. Francis Medical Office Building in Fenton.

 

Hari Thanigaraj, MD, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, has joined SSM Heart Institute at St. Clare Health Center. 

Thanigaraj has been in practice since 2000 and provides personalized cardiac care to diagnose and treat heart disease, heart rhythm problems and adults with congenital and structural heart diseases. His practice includes performing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, coronary stents and catheter closure of defects in the heart’s chambers. He also conducts diagnostic cardiac testing such as stress tests, cardiac ultrasounds, vascular ultrasounds and heart rhythm monitoring.

He holds a medical degree from University of Madras (India) and completed fellowships in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology and echocardiography at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

He has served as an associate professor of medicine at Washington University, and has published numerous articles related to cardiovascular disease.
