Memorial for Tyler Klein, Died in Wildwood Car Accident
Visitation for this young Wildwood man will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory in Ballwin.
Tyler Klein, 19 years old, died in a car accident Thursday in Wildwood. He was a Wildwood resident and 2010 graduate of Eureka High School.
He was the son of Doug and Roxie Klein, and the brother of Andy Klein, who is a junior at Eureka High.
Tyler was a "stellar athlete" in track and cross country, according to one Eureka-Wildwood Patch reader. He also was a Life Scout in Mountain Man Boy Scout Troop 456 of Wildwood.
"What a nice kid and hard worker Tyler was," said his Scoutmaster Ron James, also a Wildwood resident. "You could give him a job, and know he would do it. He was always cleaning this and that, always busy and always polite. This is really sad."
James said Tyler was a manager at the Steak 'N Shake in Ellisville.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Schrader. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Wildwood.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Smile Train or Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
Friends may sign the family’s online guestbook.
St. Louis County Police Department—Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers told Patch the accident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Missouri Route T and Ossenfort Road. It involved two cars, and is still considered an active investigation.
Tyler had a female passenger in his vehicle, who was taken to St. John's Mercy Hospital, as was the driver of the other car.

Doug and Roxie I am so sorry for your lost. I remember when Doug would bring him
to the station in his Boy Scout uniform and get ice. He was a pleasant young man.
