Norma Mentel (nee Foster) died Saturday. She was a Wildwood resident.

She was the wife of Gene Mentel. She also was the mother of Jan O'Neal of California, Fred (Maria) O'Neal of Maryland, Jeff (Marnie) Mentel and Melissa (Ken) Cella. She was "Nana" (grandmother) of Sean (Samantha) O'Neal, Ava Cella, Caroline Mentel, Landen Cella, Max Mentel, Alexandria Cella and the late Christopher O'Neal and great-nana of Sophia O'Neal. She was the sister of Burnel Foster and the late Dewayne and Gerald Foster. She was the sister-in-law of Sue Foster, Marie Foster, George Mentel, Sylvia Mentel and Dorothy (Bill) Rick.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin, as well as at West County Community Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. until the time of service.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at West County Community Church, 17770 Mueller Road in Wildwood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 16200 Manchester Rd., in Wildwood.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the A.L.S. Foundation, Living Water Academy in Wildwood or the American Cancer Society.
