League of Women Voters Sponsoring Rockwood Candidates Forum

William Brown of Eureka is one of four candidates for the Rockwood School District board of education, which will have two of its seats determined in the April 3 elections.

Eureka and Wildwood residents will have the chance to hear firsthand from Rockwood School District board of education candidates at a forum early next month, district officials announced this week.

The event is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of St. Louis, and will include four candidates competing for two open seats on the board. Incumbent Peggy Devoy and recently-appointed incumbent Geoff Rigabar both indicated they would not be seeking election this spring.

Candidates include:

  • William Brown of Eureka
  • Sherri Rogers of Chesterfield
  • Victor Hieken of Ellisville
  • Jennifer Kelly of Chesterfield

In addition to questions developed by the League of Women Voters, those in attendance will have the opportunity to pose their own questions to the candidates.

The forum will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at Crestview Middle School in Ellisville. Elections will take place Tuesday, April 3.

Candidates for the Rockwood school board are all the same so there's no point in all of these candidate forums. Once the most popular one gets elected, they will become just another "yes-man" for the district and they will proceed to spend taxpayer dollars like a drunken sailor! It's sooooo easy to spend OTHER PEOPLES MONEY.
