Jimmy John's Starts DQ (Darn Quick) Makeover in Eureka
This week, the former Dairy Queen building began to be transformed into a new gourmet sandwich shop.
The reddish-orange roof shingles were taken down, but the outline of the familiar DQ icon still remained at 14 Hilltop Village Center Drive, as a construction crew started work this week to turn the former ice cream shop into a gourmet sandwich shop within the Jimmy John's franchise chain.

The company hired to do the construction is St. Louis-based Lexicon Construction.
Crew leader Jay Harbison told Patch the overall work schedule for this project was just being discussed and worked out.
