Why Go: Your 11 - 15 year old can spend the day learning the skills needed to babysit this summer. Participants will be trained by the American Red Cross on caring for small children and how to handle emergency situations.

- Relay For Life: A Rockwood Tradition
Where: Lafayette High School; Friday, June 3, and Saturday June 4, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Why Go: Take part in a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
Pricing: $10 if walking as participant; price varies for supporting Relay teams via activities they have chosen to raise additional funds to give to the American Cancer Society.
- Electronics Recycling Drive
Where: Sacred Heart Church of Eureka; Saturday, June 4, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go: You know you want to be a do-gooder and recycle. Come on!
Pricing: Free with exceptions of a small fee on electronics, such as TVs and computer monitors.
- Iron Man 9-Hole Disc Golf Tournament
Where: Kircher Park, Sunday, June 5, at 6 a.m.
Why Go: Get outside, work on your game for the summer and have some fun!
Pricing: $20 entry fee plus $3 for non members.
