Credit Card Thief Targets Wildwood Resident

POLICE LOG: St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers responded to a DWI driver who hit an electric pole—and more accidents—between Nov. 26 and Dec. 1. Several left the scenes of accidents.

 

Following are recent incidences handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers:

Nov. 26:

A traffic stop on Manchester and Pierside revealed drug violations and active warrants; three people were arrested.

An accident happened on Strecker; no injury resulted.

An accident occurred on Missouri Route 100 at Pond; no injury resulted.

An accident, with injury, happened on Woods at Bartizan.

Nov. 27:

Police officers had nothing notable to report for this period.

Nov. 28:

An accident happened on Shepard at Missouri Route 109; no injury resulted.

A person was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on Manchester Road after hitting an electric pole. Two people were taken to an area hospital.

An accident occurred on Clayton at McBride Point; no injury resulted.

Fraud was reported in which someone tried to open a credit card account under the name of a Wildwood resident. The application was made online in California.

Nov. 29:

Someone left the scene of an accident on Evergreen Forest, after backing into a mailbox.

Nov. 30:

Someone left the scene of an accident on Missouri Route 109 and Eatheron, after running over bollards.

Dec. 1:

An accident occurred on Shepard at Missouri Route 109; no injury resulted.

An accident, with injury, happened on Melrose at Allenton.

Someone left the scene of an accident on Clayton at Shadowridge, after rear ending the victim.
