Flu Shots Available in Eureka, Wildwood
Flu shots are being dispensed in Rockwood School District schools, as well as the local Walgreens. Schedules and costs are included. Not all condone flu shots, though.
Costs for flu shots vary by type and individual. However, not everyone agrees flu shots are the best approach to optimal overall health.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials recommend everyone aged 6 months and older get a flu shot. Find out what the CDC recommends that parents know about the flu.
Walgreens' pharmacists at both the Eureka and Wildwood locations are providing flu shots during their typical pharmacy hours:
- Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Satrurday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The cost of a flu shot at Walgreens without insurance is $31.99; flu shot costs vary with different insurance companies.
For residents of the Rockwood School District, flu shots will be available at several schools through Nov. 8.
Via the Rockwood School District program, flu shots are $20 for Rockwood employees and their immediate families, or $30 for FluMist.
The Rockwood program offers flu shots for $28 for Rockwood students and community members, or $38 for FluMist. For each flu shot given to a student or community member, $3 will be donated back to the school.
