Driver on Missouri Route 100 Strikes Tree

The driver of a Saturn overturned and then was taken to a regional hospital.

A 66-year-old driver from Washington, MO, traveling on Jones Lane, south of Missouri Route 100, lost control of her 1996 Saturn SC2 on Sunday at 2:20 p.m.

Carolyn Kemper's car left the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Kemper was not wearing a seat belt, according to authorities. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington by a Washington Ambulance crew.

Her Saturn was totaled and towed from the scene.
