Display Home Burglarized in Eureka

The house was located in the Mirasol subdivision, a McBride & Sons Homes development on Highway W.

A television valued at more than $500 was stolen this weekend from a display home located in the Mirasol subdivision, off Highway W just outside of Eureka.

The Jefferson County Sheriff Department's report about the matter indicates the burglary occurred at a house located on Mirasol Manor Way, sometime between Saturday and Sunday.

Mirasol representatives told the sheriff's deputies the front office door was ajar when they arrived. The computer monitor and tower were found to be pulled out and cabinets left open. The television in the living room was missing.

Deputies dusted the residence for finger prints, and canvassed the area but no leads were generated.
