The Country Club, located at 625 the Legends Parkway, contained a dining area and chef, special events rooms, a pro shop and a swimming pool. The club is nestled into a 27-hole golf course on the southwestern portion of Eureka.

Editor's Note:  Eureka-Wildwood Patch called The Country Club Friday morning before driving there that afternoon, but none of the various phone lines were answered directly. The front doors of The Country Club were locked Friday and not answered. Three vehicles were parked near the rear of the building, but that door was not answered either. Patch was in touch via email with club manager Patti Natoli, and is eagerly awaiting a callback.

According to Stephen Natoli's Twitter profile, he also works in the field of tablet compression accessories and components at Natoli Engineering Company, Inc. in St. Charles.

If you are a member of The Country Club at The Legends, did you receive notice of this closing? Does anyone have any other current details? It's so disappointing to think a nice facility, such as this, would not be operating.
