Computer Stolen From Walmart Among Eureka Police Log

POLICE LOG Dec. 31- Jan. 5: This past week, Eureka Police Department officers also handled a boat that was blocking Interstate 44, in addition to some accidents.

 

Following are recent incidences handled by Eureka Police Department officers:

Dec. 31

An accident occurred at Meramec Boulevard and Hilltop Ridge Road; one driver was transported to the hospital.

An accident occurred at Fifth Street and Hilltop Village Center Drive; no injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at Fourth Street and Missouri Highway 109; one driver transported to the hospital.

Jan. 1

An unknown person stole a computer from the Walmart Supercenter.

Jan. 2

An accident occurred at Stockell and Central Avenue; no injuries were reported.

A boat left in the roadway on eastbound entrance ramp for Interstate 44 was towed by Eureka Police officers for blocking traffic.

Jan. 3

An accident occurred on Franklin Road; no injuries reported.

Jan. 4

An accident occurred at Central Avenue and Fourth Street; no injuries were reported.

A warrant for an arrest was processed at the police station.

An accident occurred at Fifth Street and Central Avenue; no injuries were reported.

Police handled the report of a stolen credit card being used at local businesses.

Police responded to a 53-year-old Eureka resident who died from natural causes.

Jan. 5

A person was arrested by a Washington Police Department officer for stealing from the Walmart Supercenter in Eureka.
