Cell Phones Not Safe in Shopping Carts

POLICE LOG: Eureka Police Department officers worked the following situations between Nov. 19-22, including a marijuana bust at Eureka High School, fraud cases and counterfeit money attempt.

 

The following incidences recently were handled by Eureka Police Department officers:

A person at Eureka High School was discovered to be in possession of marijuana (under 35 grams) on Nov. 19.

A cell phone was stolen from a shopping cart at Schnucks on Nov. 20.

A warrant for an arrest was processed at the police station on Nov. 20.

Fraud was committed when a person attempted to order an item from a victim's Walmart account on Nov. 21.

Credit card fraud was committed at Vista Hills Court on Nov. 21.

A person attempted to pass counterfeit money at Walmart and was arrested on Nov. 21.

Police arranged for a suicidial person located on Hogan Circle to be taken to an area hospital on Nov. 22.
