Blevins Administrative Intern Becomes Brentwood Principal
This Eureka-based Rockwood School District administrator will move eastward this summer.
Blevins Elementary School administrative intern Jeff Busch in Eureka accepted a principal's job at McGrath Elementary School within the Brentwood School District, effective July 1.
Prior to joining Rockwood School District, Busch spent 12 years as a fourth and fifth grade teacher in Illinois, where he also completed his administrative internship.
Brentwood's Board of Education members announced Busch's appointment in a Wednesday letter. He begins at McGrath with the 2012/2013 school year.
Busch earned a specialist degree in education administration and a master’s degree in instructional technology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO.
He was selected from more than 50 applicants in a process that involved four interviews with parents, teachers, administrators, and the school board, according to the school board.
“Mr. Busch’s long experience in the classroom and his genuine enthusiasm were apparent throughout the process,” said David Faulkner, Brentwood's assistant superintendent.
“We are certain that Jeff will connect with the school community and that he will continue the student-centered focus we expect in Brentwood’s schools.”

Blevins is losing a great administrator. I know my kids are very fond of him. Best of luck to him at Brentwood.
