AG Candidate Ed Martin Puts 'Obamacare' Opposition On Wheels
The Attorney is using an old ambulance to collect petition signatures.
Republican Attorney General candidate Ed Martin is using a retrofitted ambulance to press his opposition to President Obama's health care reform law.

Chalk this up as one of the more unusual transportation vehicles utilized during the 2012 election season: St. Louis City attorney Ed Martin’s campaign for attorney general is using a retrofitted ambulance aimed at showcasing the Republican’s opposition to President Barack Obama’s health care plan.
Martin’s campaign announced last week that the “Ed Martin for Attorney General Campaign ‘Stop Obamacare’ Ambulance” would be traveling around the state to collect signatures against the health care law passed in 2010.
“We are inviting citizens from across the state to come out to the ‘Stop Obamacare’ Ambulance Tour and sign the petition to stop the implementation of Obamacare here in Missouri,” Martin said in a statement. “The petition is meant to protect the rights of Missourians, something that Obama's Lawyer, Chris Koster, seems to have no interest in doing.”
Not everybody reacted to the ambulance favorably. Jane Dueker, a Stinson Morrison Hecker attorney who previously worked for former Gov. Bob Holden, said on Twitter, “in my opinion, ‘gimmick’ is polite. Crazy Eddie has now down shifted into [embarrassment].”
Koster, the Democratic incumbent, filed a brief last year arguing that the individual mandate portion of the health care law was unconstitutional. But the brief also stated that the rest of the law didn’t have to be voided. Martin’s campaign has argued that the document was inadequate.
In any case, Martin still needs to get past Livingston County Prosecutor Adam Warren in the Republican primary to face off against Koster. And Koster has an enormous financial advantage over both candidates.

Hey stupid they already get medicaid and free hospital care, what's the difference NONE! The seniors are the people in need, too many people have gotten away with medicaid, food stamps and food pantries. They get on the cycle and never get off, then they teach their children how not to work so they can get on the cycle! It's a never ending cycle and I'm paying for it and I sure won't vote for you!

Kids watch what parents do. Whether people want the government to be the parent or not. Kids watch what their parents do. They should, parents should be their kid's hero. So, If it's OK for them, why wouldn't a kid see it as OK? It's the example they are shown. (Or what they're taught) So, with an understanding of that.
You are now welcome to give me 'one shred of proof' that kids don't see their parents as role models or see this everyday as an example what to do. Or is that what EVERY OTHER NETWORK told you to write?
That will be the tough one. When people disagree with you, you call them drones of one of your hated call-in talk shows. (It's funny, the 'party of the people' doesn't want the people to be able to express themselves over the air like they can on a call-in talk show. They don't care to HEAR what the people think. They think they should be one's that are entitled to TELL the people what to think. They've even banned government entities, including the Social Security Office from visiting talk shows & answering questions about what they do, and how to follow procedures... that is, until after the election of course. Try it, call 'em up and ask if they will do an interview with you. When they say they can't, ask why.)
Isn't it odd that the people who are the product of media influence & bias, who are conditioned to think & talk in such a way by every major network, are always the first ones to turn around and try to project who/what they are onto you?

I like his new nickname. "Crazy Eddie". It sticks because only a crazy person would believe that one of the responsibilities of Attorney General was to regulate healthcare in this state.
If anything Crazy Eddie no longer is an ambulance chaser, he own's the ambulance to...more like WHAMBULANCE!
Somebody remind Ed what an AG does before he makes a fool of himself again! Better yet, Google all that FRAUD he was involved with as Governor Matt Blunt's lackey. Why would we put someone involved in such activity in position of preventing the things he did? It's an open invitation for him to get away with crime.

Thank You Jason for sharing the link, I took the pleasure to look over that article and was very surprised, by Martins callous behavior, its shocking, that these kinds of people are operating in such a capacity, to protect our interest, and yet, committing chaos, and now he is creating a carnival type atmosphere, with his ambulance, he clearly has no credibility. Ed Martin needs to take his carnival ride and park it, he is doing nothing but hurting himself.

Jane might be well advised to spend more time honing her legal skills and less deriding Ed Martin, as it looks like her red light scameras are on their way out. She will need to find another money making scheme for the Aboussie/Slay Machine and probably take some anger management classes, as she seems consumed by negativity. As for Ed's opposition to Obamacare, you are either being disingenuous, or are downright ignorant as to the responsibilities of the State AG. One of which is to represent the State of Missouri as a sovereign political entity in issues of Federal import. When that sovereignty protected by the 10th Amendment is threatened, then it most certainly is the Attorney Generals Responsibility, as the States Attorney to protect that sovereignty, as 24 (I believe that is the current count) other State AG's have done. Koster eventually signed on, but with a half hearted, weak kneed brief when he thought it was politically expedient.

Will the real Ed Martin Please stand up.
Since TheRealEdMartin.com came online in mid October 2010, Ed Martin has failed to address the facts: that as a member of the Curia, he knew that pedophile priests were moved from parish to parish and permitted full contact with children and that when faced with a clear choice, to protect children or to remain silent, Ed Martin chose to remain silent. The Tea Party favorite can't seem to get his story straight when it comes to Jeanne Bergfeld, whom he fired from the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners in 2005. Was she competent or not? Six years after her termination, that question has become a political liability for Martin: Bergfeld is suing him for making disparaging comments about her to Riverfront Times last year.
In response to Bergfeld's lawsuit, Martin first denied making the comments in question. Then, in a recent deposition, he claimed he simply couldn't remember either way.
That confusion may be real. What's more troubling is this: Martin's former campaign spokeswoman now suggests that Martin tried to bully her into changing her version of events in order to back up his own.
It's time to set the record straight.
