The Grayslake Heritage Center is in the preliminary stages of organizing a proposal to bring a high profile traveling exhibit based on Abraham Lincoln's life to the museum in early 2013.

On Tuesday, Feb. 21st., Mr. Tim Good from Arnold, MO, will present a very enlightening program on the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln, a particularly timely topic so near to Presidents Day.
Our meeting this month will be in the hall at Bethel Church at 17500 Manchester Road in Wildwood at 7 p.m.
Mr. Good has published several books on American history including:
- We Saw Lincoln Shot: One Hundred Eyewitness Accounts
- The Lincoln-Douglas Debates and the Making of a President
- Lincoln for President: An Underdog's Path to the 1860 Republican Nomination
- The American Privateers of the War of 1812: The Vessels and Their Prizes as Recorded in Niles' Weekly Register.
Our speaker is a member of the St. Louis Civil War Round Table, and comes highly recommended. He will bring with him some copies of his books if anyone is interested in purchasing.
