You can help keep the music playing by donating a musical instrument during the Music for Lifelong Achievement Instrument Drive, which runs through Nov. 20.

Participating metro St. Louis Starbucks Coffee locations, such as the one in Wildwood at 125 Plaza Dr. (Taylor & Manchester Roads), are serving as drop-off points for new and used instruments.

Used instruments will receive tune-ups and repairs, and then go to local schools and community music programs.

Music For Lifelong Achievement is a nonprofit organization based at the Sheldon Concert Hall. The group gathers used and new musical instruments and donates them to programs serving disadvantaged young people.
