The Lafayette Lancer Regiment marching band received multiple awards for outstanding music, visual and color guard performances this season. 

In addition, the band earned three first place awards in its category at area festivals.  Among these awards, the Lancer Regiment finished in first place at the Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival for the sixth consecutive year.  This award is the eighth win for the band during the past 10 years. 

According to Brad Balog, band director, this is a major accomplishment as it reflects the band’s consistency and excellence over the course of multiple seasons. 

Balog said the students performed well all year long.  “We enjoyed working with the students and are proud of the band’s accomplishments,” he said.
