Eureka Student Signs No-Tobacco Treaty

In conjunction with “World No Tobacco Day,” the Rockwood School District joined the St. Louis County Department of Health’s Let’s Face It campaign to get the tobacco-free message out to the community.

On Tuesday, Eureka High School student Jenna Witkowski represented the district and local teens on the steps of the World Trade Center building in Clayton when she read and signed the St. Louis No-Tobacco Treaty.  The treaty signifies the commitment to remain tobacco-free, and to encourage this behavior by others.

While reading the treaty, Witkowski said, “We are not going to smoke, not now, not later, no matter who else is doing it."  She then urged other teens in the St. Louis area to join this effort by signing the treaty.

Great Job.

May Rainbows come upon your life.

To Mr and Mrs. Witkowski:

May you be proud of you Daughter.

May Rainbows fill you lives.

My Dad died from Cancer of the Panckerus from Smoking.
